April at St Quentin Care Home

April has been a wonderful month at St Quentin Care Home, packed with celebrations, creativity, and lots of sunshine! Our residents have enjoyed a variety of activities that brought smiles, laughter, and a real sense of community.

We started the month by celebrating World Book Day with a magical visit from Mary Poppins herself! The residents were delighted by her charm and storytelling.

Easter was another highlight, as we gathered for a festive buffet filled with delicious treats. The home was filled with excitement as we welcomed talented singers who entertained everyone with classic tunes, while our residents got crafty with Easter-themed arts and crafts, creating beautiful decorations.

Later in the month, we honoured St George’s Day with a special baking activity. Our residents made delicious homemade biscuits, which were decorated with our flag and enjoyed with a cup of tea in true British style.

A very special milestone was also celebrated: our dear resident Richard turned 80 years old! The St Quentin team and residents came together to throw him a wonderful birthday party, filled with cake, music, and lots of fun.

With the weather brightening up, many residents have taken the opportunity to get outside, indulging in some gardening and soaking up the spring sunshine. Our garden is starting to bloom, thanks to the green thumbs of our residents.

April has truly been a month of joy at St Quentin Care Home. We are looking forward to more sunny days and exciting activities in the warmer months to come!
